TURQUOISE TERTON BRACELET FOR MEN
BuDhaHomme Men's “TERTON” bracelets are made from beads found in the Great Himalayas. Eons of time produced special chemical compounds on the Earth that along with pressure, heat, cold, and wind formed incredible natural stones. In this region, the local people believe that the stones are the “Eyes of God" and have the yang energies of the tallest mountains on earth. These stones are believed to hold knowledge and wisdom of all the holy men and ancient sages who ventured high into the Himalayas seeking enlightenment.
Many of these natural stones are found amongst the gravel, moraine, and scree of the famous mountain ranges, or washed up in flowing stream beds. Under the action of frost, rain, and sun, the matrix (surrounding) rock slowly disintegrates leaving behind colorful treasures. No mining or blasting is performed to acquire these stones. Sherpas must hike to the stone deposit/quarry areas on trails rather than roads and must hand-carry their stone load back down the mountain. Out of each 20 kilos mined by hand and brought back by the sherpas, only about 2 kilos of stones are of good enough quality to be used in our mala bracelets. These minerals include jasper in its many colors, onyx, lava, graphite, and hematite.
Natural stones, quartzes, and crystals have six primary properties. They are able to structure, store, amplify, focus, transmit and transform energy, which includes matter, thought, emotion and information. These stones are not only earth treasures they are mind treasures.
Bead colors may vary because they are natural stones found in the Himalayas.
